Trailer
Unfinished Decay is a meditative visual essay exploring the intersection of material erosion, human fragility, and the limits of digital preservation. At its core are the late works of Austrian artist Klemens Brosch: Red Dinosaurs (1926) and Green Dinosaurs (1926). These final paintings, marked by significant conservation damage, serve as the starting point for a deeper investigation into the ‚unfinished.‘ Where physical decay prevented full digitization, a new space for imagination opens. Through fragment-based AI workflows, the film reanimates these microstructures, turning surface cracks and textures into a resonance space of psychological exhaustion and loss.
